College football viewing tips

As the time is near that Your BYU Cougars will be taking on its next Mountain West Conference foe, I have taken the liberty to provide you with some "college football viewing tips" to make your time watching the game as personally fulfilling as possible.

  1. don't bother yelling at the reffs; believe me, we try that and it never works (especially through the TV screen)

  2. stay away from any red-colored sports drink to avoid any confusion

  3. even though the other person in the room may be interested in some "channel surfing" during the commercials or the half-time show, DON'T fall into temptation. Watching BYU football requires the highest degree of attention and care. Remember, college football playclock is only 45 seconds long; this is plenty of time to lose your soul for the week, forcing you to experience a great play vicariously through the announcer-tainted replay.
