As the time is near that Your BYU Cougars will be taking on its next Mountain West Conference foe, I have taken the liberty to provide you with some "college football viewing tips" to make your time watching the game as personally fulfilling as possible.
- don't bother yelling at the reffs; believe me, we try that and it never works (especially through the TV screen)
- stay away from any red-colored sports drink to avoid any confusion
- even though the other person in the room may be interested in some "channel surfing" during the commercials or the half-time show, DON'T fall into temptation. Watching BYU football requires the highest degree of attention and care. Remember, college football playclock is only 45 seconds long; this is plenty of time to lose your soul for the week, forcing you to experience a great play vicariously through the announcer-tainted replay.
